They released a memo saying by the end of August at the latest but not sure. Yes, ICS is awesome. You can try it now if you head to rootz wiki or xda, plenty if builds and done even are being done on sense 4.0

I just loaded a Cyanogenmod 9 build on my phone and so far seems very stable. Vanilla, smooth and fast.... ICS 4.0.4. I like Sense, but I'll have to see a LOT from Sense to convince me to get away from CM9.

the sense 4 over by nitsuj17 is progressing nicely. Camera is pretty much working 100%.
