Android 4.3 Ruined Wallpaper Pictures!

Hello there

I know I'm kinda late, but recently I started noticing that no matter which picture I choose to be my wallpaper, its resolution gets downgraded severely!

I tried choosing the same pictures I used when I had 4.2.2 installed but the same thing occurs. All the pictures used are HQ pictures.

I'm running 4.3 on Nexus 4. I'm not rooted.

Any walkthroughs, solutions?

You can tap it and expand it to an extent, but if the picture is square you cannot stretch it to fill the screen as the screen is not square. Is that different in 4.3? I don't know. Native resolution on the Nexus 4 is 1280 x 768. You can try editing a picture to those dimensions and then see if it will work.

Have you tried using Nova?

Use the app "Wallpaper Wizardii" to set your wallpaper. That should be a good workaround for now.
