Android 4.4 bugs on Nexus 7

When using a Bluetooth headset (LG tone in my case) and listening to music if I press the home button or basically anything else the audio becomes like Trrrrrrrrrrr and then back to normal.

If you use the "My Library" widget on the main screen and turn your Nexus into landscape mode then the widget overlaps the search bar -

Two bugs here:
The remove button persisted and the search bar disappeared:

When trying to change the wallpaper, the crop marks don't show up and the wallpaper seems very zoomed in.

Here is my list:
1. Google Now does not appear on the home screen
2. I can not change the order of my home screens

1. No Google Now on the home screen
2. Can't delete home screens.
3. The notification and home bars are not transparent.

I don't know if these are bugs or just differences in the OS that aren't coming to devices besides the Nexus 5.

Guys... I think this is why nobody is getting the OTA. Too many Bugs. Google knows it, and they stopped the roll out. I have not seen once ota screenshot. (if somebody has seen one plays include link)

UGH where is my OTA! :-/

This has been documented. You're describing features that are exclusive to the Nexus 5 launcher. It's not in the launcher that's in the 4.4 update for the other Nexus devices.

Thanx for mentioning this. I thought the ota was out in the wild for a while. I flashed the ROM using the Google factory image file and now I'm going back to 4.3. Hope Google fixes these bugs and the awful lag very soon.

Yup...Guess I'm not the only one having this problem. I was skeptical when everyone was complaining how the 4.2.2 or 4.3 update made their Nexus 7 unusable; but my 2012 N7 has gone to s#$t after I sideloaded 4.4. I was planning on keeping my device stock/unrooted, but now I may have to take drastic measures to see the smoothness that I had in the past with my N7.

I flashed 4.4 image a few days ago and I really like it.. Also installed the GEL from N5..
I have no big issues at all.. Yes there are problems with some elements overlapping when rotating the screen on landscape position, but nothing serious to me..

Another one I noticed is that it doesn't accept notifications and ringtones sounds into the internal sdcard Notifications and Ringtones folders.. To be honest I ways used to do that on custom ROMs and I'm not sure it would work on stock..

I'm having issues with setting a Gallery image as wallpaper. Winds up being centered to the far left home screen. I did have the GEL installed but recently uninstalled it. Thought that might be the issue (leftover files, settings, etc.), so I factory reset the tablet. Same issue persists. Received the KRT16S update/bugfix last night. No change.

Using an app like Zedge to set the wallpaper is fine. Issue only occurs when I long-press the home screen and try to use a pic from the Gallery. Stock wallpapers seem ok.

I updated to 4.4 last night and when listening to music over bluetooth (google play) I had the same when changing tracks, tried the same on my Nexus 4 and no problems (nexus 4 still on 4.3)

Got the 4.4 update on my Nexus 7 today. No issues experienced and over all it feels faster and smoother after the update.

Update last night. WiFi indicator went gray and stayed that way. Running OK otherwise.
