Android 5.0.1....

I'm curious which carrier each of you are on. While a small sampling and totally unscientific, I seem to have noticed that the Verizon release is behaving better. I have the Verizon X and have no issues. Who's your carrier?

Verizon. With many issues.

Do you know of any nexus owners who got the update?

I have it, and my Nexus 5 is running great on 5.0.1 But I flashed the factory image because I didn't feel like waiting for the ota. Btw, my phone was running good before on 5.0 The only thing that isn't working well for me is the notification light. But other than that, it's been smooth as butter.

I have the Verizon version of the phone, installed 5.0 the day I received it, did NOT do a factory reset, and have found the software to be flawless, runs smoothly, no lags, no crashes. I wonder if you have one or more apps that don't play well with 5.0?

How do you AVOID getting the update? My Note 4 is performing flawlessly. Why would I want to tamper with success?

Os-wise mine has been pretty flawless minus some occasional stutter and launcher crashes. Now I have had some graphical and general instability issues with apps.

I am on Verizon and wiped the system cache after the update.

So you're silenced phone does not have its ringer volume reset after using moto voice?

You use "attentive display" and find that it always works?

For me at least attentive display didn't work very well under KitKat either, so I can't say that Lollipop made it worse.

Well... it was a little touchy in terms of how you had to orient the phone for it to recognize you were looking at it, but I never saw it just go absolutely AWOL like it does on L. Now it simply stops working altogether and won't come back until a reboot, or turning the feature off for a while and then back on.

Just don't install the update. It'll keep promoting you until you download, but you can refrain from installing. That said, I don't think you have to work as about it as Samsung usually doesn't care to give updates soon. It'll atleast take a month or two for galaxy series.. I dunno about note

I have a Moto X on Verizon. I have found the lollipop update to be very smooth, and bug-free. The only bugs I have noticed are as a result of a particular app. Also, Motorola's software has some bugs.

After lollipop the voice prompt doesn't work properly. When I give the voice prompt command sometimes it doesn't show the screen, but I hear a time. If i issue further command, sometime it works sometimes it doesn't just stays on the locks screen. I did get an update for moto app, but no improvements
