Android 8.0 Oreo beta for Galaxy S8 - Unlocked (UK) Sprint & T-Mobile (US) only.

Notifications working OK with lockscreen and notification panel as far as sound and led for Samsung Messages and Outlook mail but not getting badge notifications. Could be that I'm using Microsoft Launcher though.
Yeah, pretty sure notification badges are specific to launchers.

Any one else experiencing notification issues? If the phone is locked Nine won't give me any notification, no sound, no led. GMail has stopped giving my led notifications but does give the notification sound. Both the Samsung email client and Textra work just fine. I've been through all the settings but haven't been able to find anything that might help. I believe that all this was working fine prior to me resetting the phone.
Mine have been fine. Notifications and Led show up almost every time. Sound I can't speak for as my phone lives its life on vibrate.

Update for me: My camera app froze up twice yesterday. I could eventually get back to the home screen by tapping on the home key repeatedly, but going back into the camera app would show the camera window (blank no live view) white shutter button and other buttons, and it would all be non-responsive. Had to reboot the phone each time to get the camera to work.

This morning my Bluetooth headphones would not connect at the gym. Went into the Bluetooth settings, Bluetooth was toggled off. I toggled it back on and the button slider moved into the on position but then grayed out and was non-responsive. Had to reboot to get it to work.

So I want to bail out of the beta program. A few folks on here have stated selecting the beta program text in the Samsung+ app will give you an option to un-enroll from beta, but that text does nothing when I tap on it. See screen shot below - tapping on the circled text does absolutely nadda:

So, can someone who has actually un-enrolled tell me what works? Do I just need to do a factory reset on the phone? I don't want to go through that hassle and still find I am enrolled in beta when I set everything back up. Thanks.

The Deregister button is in Samsung Members app...settings>galaxy beta program.
Alternatively, if you plug your phone into your computer and connect with Samsung Smart Switch you have the option to roll back to previous software. see pics.
Unfortunately, I haven't done either of these things, so am unable to tell you how they would work. Sorry.2017-11-09 (1).png2017-11-09.png

I wiped the cache partition again and it looks like the GMail notification problem *might* be solved. The LED showed up again. I will have to go back and experiment with Nine to see if the cache wipe helped there as well. Samsung email and Textra continue to work just fine.

Looks like Beta 2 is incoming

I don't use Bixby very much but the transition from swiping right to get to Bixby is very stuttery.

Just an aside... Was reading through some posts in Oreo Beta feedback section on Samsung Members app. So many comments have absolutely nothing to do with Oreo Beta. Makes you wonder about brain capacity of some users.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I am in the USA and we cannot download the Samsung Members app here - we have Samsung+ and it does not allow you to do anything with the beta once you have enrolled. I tried the Smart Switch option (had to install the software on my PC) and it basically did a factory reset on my phone, but it reinstalled the beta Oreo software. So I am right back where I started.

I have chatted with an "expert" in the Samsung+ app, and he gave me a link to an FAQ on some Samsung website on this topic, which recommended the Samsung Member app option. UGH.

I am really f-ing hating Samsung right now.

Gotta go back to setting up my phone.

I'm in USA. I now have Members app. Samsung+ is only needed to enroll.
After Oreo was installed there were updates in the Galaxy Apps.

There sounds like a new beta build rolling out hiring UK first. USA should be 3-4 days later if like last time.

So you are getting this from the "Galaxy Apps" app store? Because searching for Samsung Members in the Google Play store brings up nothing. That search also brings up nothing for me in the Galaxy App store either. Maybe if I reboot my phone 5 more times it will show up :/

The Samsung Members app showed up in my app drawer after downloading the beta. I am in the US. I have auto-update enabled for my galaxy apps, so maybe that's why it just showed up. Not sure why, but it's there. Did you have a backup in Smart Switch?

I did have to delete the cache for Samsung+ but that was so that the option to enroll in the beta.

Members app is a little buggy. Likely wasn't intended for how it's being used.

Same for me. I never actively downloaded it, it just showed up. Which is why I was a bit confused using the Members Plus app and finding all references the the beta had disappeared.

Updated to Beta 2 today and AOD clock no longer moves on screen, tried various things, cache partition, different clock, off/on but it just stays in the same place, potential for screen burn?
