Android and Emails

My good friend has a blackberry tour. He loves it. I have told him countless times how great android is compared to blackberry. His major concern was being able to get emails quickly from many accounts including Yahoo, and being able to view attachments in different formats.

Just comparing Android to Blackberry based on email ability, how does Android Rate?

Depends on the type of email account(s) IMO. Gmail's definitely better on the Android. I'm not as impressed with Exchange support on Android as I was on the BB. Yahoo's off and on for my fiancee for no apparent reason (no, she never uses WiFi).

I would say that if e-mail is the most important consideration, and especially if you are not using gmail exclusively, stick with Blackberry.
