Android app to set an alarm - from desktop

I want to set an alarm on my phone - from my desktop.

Is there an app/service to do this?

I want to set an alarm + add a notification detailing what the alarm is for.

How about creating a reminder using Google Assistant? Or does it have to be a sustained alarm tone?

I saw loads of outdated instructions on how to set a remote alarm - I guess not possible using these methods in current Android version?

I found one app... you create diary entries and add 'alarm' at the beginning. But the has loads of poor reviews of not working.

Surely there HAS to be a solution?

I would've thought you could use Google Assistant on your laptop to set an alarm, but oddly that's not possible at this time using the Chrome browser on a PC or Chromebook.

One workaround would be to modify the notification tone for Calendar notifications to a long sound file, and create events in Calendar for those alarms (but I don't think the tone would repeat).

Google Keep Notes will work for this.
