Has anyone had issues with their Android Wear device draining battery significantly while the phone is connected to Android Auto. I lost 40% battery on my commute to work today, about an hour and a half.

Yes! On long trips, My Moto 360 drains rather quickly. I've taken to turning it off if I know I'm driving over an hour.

Yep. Seen this, too. Quick search turned up turn-by-turn directions are possibly being the culprit, which I guess makes sense.

I've been searching all over google and moto support pages. Their "fix" is to place the watch in airplane mode while using android auto. I just started disconnecting the watch while I'm driving so I don't get the drain. I lose almost 40% in an hour drive.

Does anyone know a way to automatically disconnect the watch when Android Auto is running? Maybe through Tasker or something? I have noticed the same issue.
