Android Auto doesn't work on Oreo

My car doesn't see the 6P when it's running O, Android Auto works fine on Nougat. I have a 2017 Chevy Volt. I've unenrolled fromt he O beta and reinstalled N. I'll wait until they've fixed Android Auto on O before I give it a try again.

Really not surprising at all considering you were running an early Beta.

Ok so I know I'm new here, however, I was having the same issue I have a Nexus 6P on N and a 6P on O the one on N would connect to the car just fine the one on O wouldnt. I uninstalled the version of andriod auto for O and manually instald the version for N (N ver. 2.3.716604 v O ver. 2.4.722703) after I completed the initial setup I tried it in the car and it worked great. Android Auto is working for me on Android O, how ever it's a bit buggier than it used to be on N. for instance, sometimes the screen in my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe will say device not responding. If I disconnect and reconnect the wire them it usually responds.
