Android auto not working for seat ibiza

My ibiza and Huawei p9 mate won't communicate. I've tried everything I know and had it back to the garage who say it's not the car. The car says that there is a connection problem but I've no idea what permissions I need to change. Any advice please?

Finch try changing the cable you use. I had one and the cat did not see my phone so I tried a new one
