Anybody else have USB disconnect randomly while using Android Auto in their Chevy? I used used multiple cables. I am pretty sure it is my Infotainment system, but they will not fix it until they know something. I think it started with this new Z Flip 3. I have had 2 Buick 2021 loaners & they never disconnect. It always comes back in about 30 seconds. It is in a 2019 Traverse 1LT. Everything is up to date.

My 36 month bumper to bumper runs out next month & we want this fixed & cannot find anything.

Cheers, Jon

See if you have the latest update to the Infotainment system before warranty runs out and get charged

Frankly the tech about this is kind of pissing me off. I have similar problems but only with the wireless android auto, not with USB android auto. Not sure if it is the phone or the head unit, and of course no way to know for sure. It is definitely an android thing/problem however, because Apple Car Play works flawlessly in the same vehicle with a couple of Apple phones from family members.

...oh, and from the web there are also suggestions that Samsung phones specifically might also have some messed up stuff for contributing to some of these Android Auto problems.

Did not know there was an Android Auto Forum :) I did find that my problem was with 2 cables ... 3rd one works fine. It used to be they worked or they didn't ;)

Cheers, Jon

Glad to hear it's working again

I connected my Flip 3 for the first time today in my Miata and it would randomly disconnect/reconnect. Flip 3 works in my truck fine. I'll swap the truck cable to the Miata and see if that helps

They finally pushed Android11 and a September security update to my Samsung A21 (seems like the quarterly updates are always dated a quarter behind) and I think my wireless Android Auto problems might be gone. Have not yet positively confirmed, but thus far it's looking promising.
