I have a 2018 Ram 1500 pickup truck with the 8.4 UConnect audio system. When I receive text messages and have AA read them aloud to me the volume is super loud. Let's say I'm listening to my stereo at a volume level of 15. I receive a text message and I have AA read it to me. Google's voice comes booming out of my truck's speakers. I need to turn the volume down to 1, yes 1, in order to listen to it comfortably. Mind, I can't even hear the truck's radio at a volume level of less than 6 or 7, so 1 is really rock bottom volume level.

Not only that, but when I'm done listening to the text and revert back to the radio, there is the volume setting back at 15.

Anybody have any ideas on how to get the volume on the AA to be similar to the truck's stereo volume control?

There are no individual app volume controls, but an app like Tasker can change the volume based on what's going on. (It's not free, but if you use it for a few things, it's well worth the price.)

AA volume and audio volume are separate on my JVC deck. When AA voice is talking, the volume control changes AA volume. When AA isn't, the volume control adjusts audio. I would just leave AA volume at 1 and car audio at 15. I feel your pain though. My volume is fine for AA, but it's screaming loud when I use Apple Car Play...and that I cant figure out how to adjust. It's likely an issue with your decks firmware.
