Android Auto: whenever car engine is shut off and re-fired, android auto is not detected

Hi all,

My Android Auto in OnePlus 5T is connecting fine to car, but only when car engine is on and then connected to video system.

If car engine is shut off (at traffic signal for example) and then restarted, Android Auto is not detected automatically and I need to remove the usb cable and reattach for using AA again.
Any solution will be highly helpful.
