Android beam problem

I've tried to send video from my GS3 to my wife's Nx7 via NFC pairing but when I touch to beam, instead of sending anything it opens the play store on the Nx7. Is this common? Is there a fix?

As far as I know SBeam only works with the GS3 and the GNote 2. Idk if any other android phones do the beam thing. I think it's only exclusive to those 2 Samsung phones tho.
