On my Samsung S21 cell phone, the camera app records location information which is derived from the GPS coordinates, but doesn't record the GPS coordinates directly. As a result, when photos are copied to a computer, the GPS coordinates are not included in the metadata.
How can we select GPS coordinates to be recorded in the metadata instead of (or in addition to) the location information.
Example: On a photo taken near Green River, Utah, Camera recorded "US-50, Utah, USA" but didn't record the GPS coordinates. When I copied the photo to my computer, all location data was lost.
There should be some option to put the GPS coordinates directly into the metadata so you can transfer the photos to other devices with the coordinates included.
