Android Central Photo Contest: Festive

It's that time of the year where things get festive. Parties, family gatherings, holiday cheer and plenty of decorations. No matter what or how you celebrate, this is definitely a time where you can gather up some festive photos — and we want to see your best ones.

We'll pick out three winners for this contest, with each one taking home a $50 Google Play Store gift card!

Entering is easy. Just drop your entry in a post below. Tell us what Android you used to get the picture, and any back story you want to add to it. We'll pick a winner Tuesday (December 15) night at 11:59 p.m. ET, and announce them on the blog with the next contest.

• Pictures must be taken with an Android device
• Pictures must be uploaded to the contest thread. I'm not running all over the Internet to track them down.
• You have to tell us what device you used to take the picture, and any special software you might have used. Editing your pictures is fine — this is art.
• Feel free to add a little back story — we want to know how the picture came to be.
• You must have used a valid email address to register here at AC, so I know how to contact the winner.
• Only one entry per contest per person.

This Hallmark shuttlecraft ornament has held a special place in my family's heart since 1992. Complete with Leonard Nimoy's voice as Mr. Spock.

Taken with an LG G4 on Auto with no editing, this image shows my grandmother's Christmas village. As a kid, I used to set this up with her so it holds a lot of emotional meaning to me. In the background you can see our 9 foot artificial (blame my family's allergies) tree that takes three people and serious manpower to set up every year. I took it in portrait so that it could serve as my wallpaper for the holiday season.
