Spring tulips. Taken with a Galaxy S6.

Big or small, there's something to be enjoyed about a well-maintained garden. Whether you're the one getting your hands dirty or you're just passing by someone else's work, a nice garden is worth stopping and snapping a few photos of. In this latest photo contest we're asking you to do just that, and we can't wait to see what you capture.

Two winners will be selected in this contest, with each taking home a Moto 360!

Entering is easy. Just drop your entry in a post below. Tell us what Android you used to get the picture, and any back story you want to add to it. We'll pick a winner Tuesday (July 28) night at 11:59 PM ET, and announce them on the blog with next Wednesday's contest.

  • Pictures must be taken with an Android device
  • Pictures must be uploaded to the contest thread. I'm not running all over the Internet to track them down.
  • You have to tell us what device you used to take the picture, and any special software you might have used. Editing your pictures is fine — this is art.
  • Feel free to add a little back story — we want to know how the picture came to be.
  • You must have used a valid email address to register here at AC, so I know how to contact the winner.
  • Only one entry per contest per person.

Good luck, everyone!

Moto G 2013, Stock Moto Camera app, HDR forced on.

I had just finished a ****ty day at work and had needed to do some landscaping in the garden, so i went to a B&Q (hardware/garden centre in the UK) and whilst i was there i took a load of photos of the flowers before i got to the stuff i needed, this was probably my favourite from the bunch, closely backed by my second... which you wont see.

Taken with my S6, non edited, just point and shoot. I don't have a large garden, this photo is evidence. Some little / random flower growing through my pebbles at the door. Loving how easy and effortless the S6 camera is.

This is a black swallowtail caterpillar munching on some dill in my home garden. I plant extra to attract these guys, because I love watching them turn into butterflies!

Taken with an HTC One M8.IMAG0440.jpg

One of the first pictures I took with my Xperia Z3 Compact, during the local Tulip Time festival. Tweaked with Google Photos.

This picture is from an area between two clematises that we've let grow a bit, as you can tell from the common daisy and clover. The bright white and the shadow caught my eye yesterday as I was walking into our house. For all the work that we go to to maintain gardens, there is certainly beauty in "weeds", as well.

This was captured with my Nexus 6, Manual Camera app, and edited in Google Photos.

Living in New York for 20 years and I had never visited The High Line. Last week me and my wife decided to just get up and go take a stroll. To both our surprise we enjoyed the walk and now the High Line is our new favorite place. Its great for taking pictures of the sunsets, also lots of opportunities to take pictures of the beautiful gardens there. I highly recommend it.

This picture was taken while walking on The High Line.

The Phone I used was my LG G3
I used Snapseed to edit the photo.

Took with my Moto x 2013 at a little tucked away garden area in Saint Augustine Fl. My girlfriend and I stumbled upon it and thought it was a super quiet and pretty place that ended up leading to a Greek Orthodox Church museum.

This photo was taken in Savannah, GA. My fiance and I were on a long weekend together visiting. Was a very enjoyable time!

One day I went to visit my grandma who suffers from depression and we were strolling in the garden in front of the elders' house were she lives when I noticed these beautifully maintained flowers. Sadly, the beauty of the place doesn't seem to ease her pain much.

This was taken from my old Droid X2. It was our old mango tree in Marco Island, FL. It took many years of hard work and patience to get a tree to produce so much fruit. It may not be extremely beautiful but it is definitely interesting.
