The Hollywood Pantages Theatre, formerly known as RKO Pantages Theatre, is located at Hollywood and Vine (6233 Hollywood Boulevard), in Hollywood. Designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca, it was the last theater built by the vaudeville impresario Alexander Pantages. The palatial Art Deco theater opened on June 4, 1930, as part of the Pantages Theatre Circuit.

I carried these tickets with me to the Woodstock Festival in 1969. When I got there no one was collecting them, so I saved them all these years. About 10 years ago I framed them and they now hang in my office. Look at the price, $18 for 3 days of music!

Contractor date stamp in a Little Tokyo sidewalk. Later that year the Imperial Japanese Navy would bomb Pearl Harbor and the residents of this community would be relocated to "internment" camps for the duration of he war. They came back to find much of their old community condemned and razed to build a new city center. This sidewalk is the last southern remnant of an entire 5 city block area torn down for progress in the late 1940's... it is still a parking lot.

Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacán Mexico. I had to go to Mexico City in April for work, we were there over a weekend (darn) and my company booked a tour for us (though we had to pay for it ourselves) to go to the pyramids.

Took this with my 2013 Moto X, and did no editing. I have some I'm more proud of but they don't qualify for this since I took them with my Canon EOS-M.

This is one of my favourite photos of 2015, and it happened by chance.
We had driven to visit a Castle a few miles away, but the castle was closed so we decided to explore the area. We stumbled across this place, Tintern Abbey, and parked up to take a look.
It was founded in 1131 and has a long and interesting history.

Wow - totally envious for that one I ever wanted to visit that a long time now, but never came up to it - so I wanted to have a close look. Histroy in this definition brought up a nicely ruin with lots of hostory inside its walls.

The cornerstone and crumbling foundation of what was intended to be the summer White House for all future presidents in the foothills of Colorado. The project was abandoned when World War I began, but it would have been a great view for them from up here. Now it is an interesting hiking destination, along with the other ruins in the area.

While working on the design of a new restaurant in Grand Central Terminal NYC, we uncovered this historical wrought iron grille that has been covered up for decades. The detail in the grille reminded us of a long lost age where excellent craftsmanship was the norm. We decided to keep the grille in place. When the construction is finished, this historical grille will once again be appreciated while being lit from behind.

Taken using LGG3 LS990 no edit on july 5th 2015. Visiting the grave of my ancestor on the eastern shore of Virginia. We were on the way back from Harrisburg PA. to Suffolk VA. and i just had to stop it was dark after 9 pm. Very fitting given the date.

Any idea why the AC Forums app isn't letting me attach a picture? I can do it fine in other threads, but not this specific one. When I select my pic, it gives me the processing notice like normal, but it doesn't show the pic as an attachment in the text entry screen.
