Took this with my Samsung Note 2 at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge, CA
April 2015
Slightly edited with Google photo to enhance the color and add a little brightness.
I have so many nice shots of trees from that same place. But I decided this one was the best choice.
This is actually one gigantic tree that split in 2. And I'm going to approximate the height at around 150 ft+ and the base is around 10ft+. Can't see the top, cause I would have had to stand way way back.
Taken with my Note 4 using snapchat. No story behind it really. Was walking home from work and remembered the trees contest. Took a picture of the tree nearest to me
Taken with my Droid Maxx in Sequoia National Park this January. I used the Google Camera app to take a 9-shot panorama and then let Google do its thing with Auto Awesome.
It was raining that day so between that and the cold I had most of a national park to myself. I came across this lone, less-than-whole sequoia and really liked the way it stood out from the others in the fog.
Need a Light? this photo was taken with the lg g4 and edited with photoshop. We were walking through the woods in Nova Scotia when we randomly found a tree with a lamp sticking out of it.

This is a silhouette of our cat and a fake tree in our house. I figured I could offer up a change of pace from the other pictures in the thread. Taken with LG G3 and adjusted in Snapseed.
Maples in Mount Douglas forest in Victoria, BC. What I love about this photo is the stark contrast between the spritely leaves and the tree trunks. Taken with my LG G4 in manual mode, saved in raw, and then brought alive using Photoshop.
Ive actually submitted this one on a previous contest but as ive only just got my G4 back from repair and my old M8 with a scuffed up lens wasnt going to get anywhere, all ive still got tree wise is this.
