droid X is the perfect combo - big screen, stock android [not a fan of Sense UI], froyo rolling out soon, verizon network, swype included... LUVS IT!!

This is going to be hot due to the larger touchscreen, Hi Def video and upgraded camera and processor. It will open up the market even more for business and casual users due to the ability to customize where other devices may lack in applications and development community.

The Droid X is just a SOLID phone. Motorola focused on solely the droid for its strongest phone. They didnt cheap out on anything and it doesnt look like they did with the X.

Droid X best phone of the year

Several things make the Droid X the best phone of the year. It is on the Verizon network so you know what you are you will have great service. It has been made by Motorola so the quality of the phone is top notch. It will be running 2.2 soon so it will have flash and make apple fanboys drool. It has a giant screen so using the native Blockbuster app will be perfect. And the biggest proof this is the best phone of the year is the sheer amount of replies on this thread for one phone.

I LOVE this phone. I mean c'mon just look at it! I want this phone so bad but cannot afford it at the moment and it sucks. This phone makes the iphone4 look like crap (By the way I cannot stand apple and its stupid iphone and I am sick of people acting like its soooo good, idiotsss!). This phone has an amazing design and when froyo comes along, this phone will be at the top, to me it already is. I been trying to find videos and pictures of this phone for months now and have been waiting for it release date forever. Now its coming out and I cannot afford it at the moment, Android Central, PLEASE hook this University of Toledo Business major up with a phone that would be perfect for him! I am the biggest Android phone (and website) fan and would never switch back to blackberry or any other phone, even if the igay, excuse me, i mean iphone comes to verizon. This DROID X WILL KILL THAT DEVICE and its going to make Android users and sceptics feel at ease about the whole Android system and phones!

I want to try a different angle here. As I read many of the post I see the pattern of people who really want and could use a free Droid X. I would like to propose something different.

In the event that I would be selected as a winner I would like to offer to donate the retail value of the prize to a charity of Android Central's liking. This is no joke. I'm planning on saving up to buy one anyways. I would be able to donate 40 dollars a month until the retail price is reached. You could set up something on the web site to show everyone that I'm keeping my word, and I could send the donations to an admin to then send in what ever direction is chosen.

I think donating to injured veterans or cancer research or helping the Gulf clean up would all be viable charities.

I think together we could use are interest in these wonderful phones and android its self to change a little part of the world. Lets take this chance to make some else's life better if even only for one day.

I hate my Storm

The Droid is not only the hottest phone because of it's massive screen, super-fast processor, and not to mention it's running Android (and soon to be froyo)...but it is the hottest phone to me because I've been living for almost two years with the turd biscuit that is the Blackberry Storm (that's right...the 9530), and I've been waiting for just the right phone to come along.

The droid is the first phone that actually has some of the loyal Apple iZombies thinking twice about their hardware...especially those suckers that just bought the new model! "Can you hear me now?....hello?..."
