The HDMI is a huge selling point. I would love to be able to have movies on my phone when I travel and then just plug my phone into a TV when I am away from home. The huge screen is a big bonus...and the fact that it's an Android. Plain and simple: Google rocks!

Been a crackberry man for a while now and am ready to make the switch. Passed up on the incredible and I think it was worth the wait. Ready to make this my 1st phone to use Android on. Looking forward to be another to leave blackberry for ANDROID!!!

Got to play with a Droid X last week, and have been slowly counting down the minutes (and thats a hell of a lot of minutes) to when the Droid X comes out.

I could talk all day about why I think this is going to be the new hotness for a long time to come in the Android community alone. Hell just being an android phone alone already puts a phone light years above most other mobile OSs out there.

Or I could talk about how finally moving from a BB Storm to the X will revolutionize how I handle my day to day business and actually go about being productive.

I finally won't have to deal with my non tech friends asking "why did you choose android". Instead of my usual "why not", I just show them and they'll know why.

The phone kicks some serious ass, and quite frankly whenever I think about getting a Droid X, I immediately do this.....

....to replace my old Blackberry Curve 8330 with something as hot as the new Droid X. I've followed the discussion from day one and eagerly waiting for it to come out. This would definitely make me the envy of all my amigos.

Hottest phone of the year?, without a doubt. Mostly cause its not on Sprint, its huge, and you can hold it any way you want. Also for the fact that it has an evil Red Eye that glares back at you and anyone knows that if your name ends in X, then your Bad A$$. Thanks for the contest!

Since I am hearing impaired, I am drooling over the Droid X because of the large screen size. I am not interested in the phone capacity per se, but more for the data on screen. I love the portability of the Internet and accessing deaf related capabilities like using relay service on the Droid X.

Because the other company out there develops crappy software that causes consumer reports to no longer recommend their phone http://www.razorianfly.com/2010/07/12/consumer-reports-we-can-no-longer-recommend-the-iphone-4/ and the X will be easier to root.

It's the whole package. You combine the giant screen, hardware buttons, HDMI, more memory, and I'm sold.

Plus, back on my old Windows Mobile phone, I absolutely had to have a keyboard... But after months with the original Droid (and now Swype) I find myself barely ever using it.

And with the Droid X I can get my GF my Droid and get her off the Windows Mobile one... ^_^

Its the phone I've been waiting for, big, fast, and awesome. At work I often try to take video of the dogs playing so the owners can get a sense of what we do. With the Droid X I can take video that they can actually see, instead of the Eris I own which isn't that great at video.
