Motorola seems to have crafted a great device. With a 4.3" screen, a crazy-good CPU, and a good blend of touch and physical, the X seems to me to be the best phone crafted yet since the beginning of cell phones.

Droid X marks the spot
It's the Droid on steroids. Why is it better, oh let me count the ways:
1) No key pad--which I never use on the Droid anyway--making it thinner.
2) Bigger, Stronger, Faster (a la Daft Punk)
3) Bigger screen, which seems to bother some people; not me. Better videos!
4) And the list goes on...

I was a long time Palm user then switch to blackberry 1 1/2 ago for a blackberry as my first smartphone. I realized how powerful a smartphone can be and wanted more out of my phone including apps. So I look at Iphone and then a buddy showed me his Hero. I realized with all the google services I use now Android would be a good fit. This Droid X will be my first droid and I am sure not the last. I love the large screen first off and a bigger camera is hot ! I hope to use this phone for my firefighting job using life saving info that I can store on it.

I have been an original MotoDroid owner since it first came out and its been my favorite phone of all cell phones I've owned since my first Airtouch Motorola in 1998. Motorola did an awesome job with this one so I know the Droid X will be nothing less than stellar!

OTHER SOFTWARE AND DESIGN, IT'S GOING TO THE HOTTEST BECAUSE OF THE VZW NETWORK. VZW HAS BETTER SERVICE AND MORE CUSTOMERS WHICH WILL ALSO MAKE THIS PHONE THE HOTTEST PHONE ON THE BLOCK!
The X is GREAT because no one's killed themselves to make it...now we know why factory workers were offing themselves - a flawed design!!

Because, here in Montana, we don't have AT&T (they're just starting to set up towers here) so we got screwed on the iPhone--thank goodness someone else realized we need awesome phones too! Also, the Droid X doesn't have a trackball like my current BlackBerry Tour--I've learned to hate that *)(&)& trackball LOL! (good phone otherwise, but the trackball drives me insane!)
First off, it's a new phone running android and that should be enough to make it the new Hotness. Since that in itself is not enough the proof really came to me after watching Phil's "Droid X Benchmark Tests". After seeing that video and watching how well the Droid X did (without Froyo) in comparsion with the Evo I was sold. I can't wait to watch this thing fly with 2.2 and I can't wait to watch my family vids in 720p and I can't wait to watch a movie on that 4.3" screen and I can't wait to watch it all on my big screen after I hook it up to the HDMI out and I can't wait to watch my apple friends frown while I watch flash enabled websites while talking on my phone WITH a connection and, and, and, and, and that is why the Droid X is the "HOTTEST" thing since the Bhut Jolokia pepper!

This phone is HOT because the company that makes it has been in the game for along time. They had a hit with the DROID and just did better with this one. I have enjoyed my ERIS but would love to try a DROID X!!
