This phone is going to bring about an evolution in the phone market that thins the line even more between tablets and smartphones.

The screen, the specs, and the build quality are going to create an entirely new dimension that many companies will use as a new standard for things to come.

Nobody loves a giant

I am quite a large fellow. Normal phones can look downright silly in my hand. I have a moto Droid, and it appears pathetically small. If I received a Droid X a number of things would happen. 1, I would be viewed as more normal sized because the phone would look more to proportion with my body. 2, the Droid X would attract the kind of woman I am looking for. This means I could breed and create more android users to help in the global adaption of the platform. This looks like a win-win situation to me.

I would love to win a Droid X because it looks like the most amazing thing out and also because the Eris, while not too bad, just doesn't itch my need for speed. The X has that in spades. Also, I have big hands so the X would be perfect. No more small phones!

I've been waiting for a monster of a phone for Verizon and this is it. You can't argue with android, 1 ghz, swype and 720p. I can't wait to see what the devs are cooking up to take advantage of the gpu either. With Froyo in the near future and Motorola's latest UI iteration there is a lot to be excited for.

I think that it is going to be the best phone made at this point and time. It is going to be super fast, good looking, has tons of storage space, and to many other things to mention. I can't wait to get my hands on one. Plus android blows Ican't, BB, Palm, Windows, and Nokia out of the water.

The DROID X what can i say it is the best smart phone out there with its crisp 4.3 inch screen and its wonderful 720p hdmi video recording what more could you ask for. Also you cant forget about the 1ghz TI OMAP 3630 processor that makes this phone blazing fast and also with the 2.2 update coming no other smartphone will be able match up against this beast of a phone!!!

I think the Droid X will be the hottest phone of the year because of it's 4.3in screen, 1gHz processor, and the Android Operating system, the hottest, and soon to be predominate, in the world!

Even if Motorola locks it's Droid X Bootloader, it still is a great hardware. So I can give it a try if I win this baby.

My biggest reason for wanting the DroidX is the 720p video and big screen. My kids (2-years-old) are growing up so fast, it would be nice to have the ability to grab some video that doesn't look like a garbled mess without needing to carry around a camcorder.

Because VZW and Moto have come up with a device that has the hardware as well as the software to give the Apple faithful pause. The marketing has been flawless but even with the best marketing you still have to provide the goods and they have! I can't wait to be able to help out the modding community with my new Droid X! ;-)

Going insane trying to even make a phone call with my Storm 9530. The microphone crapped out long ago and can only make a call with a headset. Constantly having to pull out the battery and re set the phone.
Help me from my phone hell.
Im self employed and dropping another $200+ to being able to make calls again just wont work for me.
