I've got a DROID and that set the standard for the android phones now DROID X comes out and blows my DROID away it makes it look like an Ifail just amazing have to have one!!!

Droid X

It is huge, feels good in hand, just right! You can boast that yours is bigger than anyone without the feeling of 'guilt'! ;)

It's the local coffee house against Starbucks

The Droid X is going to be the best phone of the year because it's the first phone that, instead of chasing the success of other phones, it stands alone as a solid peace of technology to be appreciated as its own. It's loaded with features and software that the tech-savvy and the grungy technology underground, and that the every day user can appreciate, not some watered down "smart" phone. It's not a phone that's built around sleekness and simplicity that is shipped to serve only a few purposes and refuses to allow growth, its a phone designed for the people who like choices and open source and the idea of freedom, not being squashed under Apple's big thumb. This isn't the first phone to have this opportunity, but this is the first phone that people can feel confident about switching too without losing the regular smartphone features, and gaining a lot more.

It's going to show people the phone world outside of Apple's cookie cutter!
Neo's about to free us from the Matrix! (Just saw that movie again, so I had that on my mind).

Droid does, Apple doesn't. Nuff' said.

10. I really really really want this phone.......

The only phone for me

Superior screen with larger, crisper view. I have 3 active kids so capturing their moments is important. The camera will be great for that with 8mp camera that has a mechanical shutter capable of 1-1000 shutter speed, image stabilization and 16:9 image capture. An equally impressive video recorder with 720p, slow and fast motion modes, 3 mics, and HDMI output. My family and I are always on the web so 3G mobile hotspot will be handy. Can't wait for flash 10.1. I'm a huge fan of android apps and the 1ghz processor should make them lightening fast. The 40GB storage capacity will be handy with all of those apps I'm using and pictures I'm taking. And its a phone too! All of this and Motorolas superior build quality makes this is an outstanding piece of technology.

The Droid X has a huge screen and a great company in Motorola behind it. Plus, it's got Android, the best OS in the phone market.

I've been stuck with a Blackberry Storm for the past year and a half, and while the phone is by no means bad (I know many will disagree), it has recently been giving me problems, from battery life to memory issues. I have for a long time been reading Android Central, planning a switch from BB to Android. First, I was eying the Incredible. Then the Droid X came along, and that's what really pushed me into the "must switch now!" mindset. The screen is the biggest selling point to me, but I'm also impressed with the camera and battery life (from what I've read, it's actually really good). Plus, I got a chance to hold a dummy unit today, and the X feels perfect in my hand.

Thanks for hosting this giveaway. :)

This has got to be one of the sweetest phone to hit since my Incredible....that my bride will not put down. I would love to have the Droid X so I can have my own phone again.

Droid X

I could probably talk about the massive touchscreen and how it'd be great for games (or porn), or the fast processor for quick access to apps or excellent multitasking, or even the great Verizon service. But my favorite feature is the name: "Droid X".

That's just badass.

This phone is hands down beautiful with the best looking screen of the year, the software is amazing. I dont think any other phone will beat it. 4.3 inches of a beautiful screen! Android 2.2 coming! Resizable widgets! Whats better! All that makes this phone perfect!

i deserve a droid x ,because verzion bamboozled me into thinking the eris was as good as the Motorola droid and did i mention i once beat a ipod with a bat ,just to watch steve jobs cry ?

well, i have the incredible now. but, no accessories, and no froyo until prolly december. gimme the bigger screen and motorola's track record of updates, and i think you got a winner.

I currently have an eris, my first android phone, and I love it. My only problems however are the fact that the screen size causes the keyboard to be a little hard to use, the screen resolution is a little too low for most websites, the lag is pretty bad, I thought sense ui was a little unnecessary and all that was needed was a few good widgets, and it most likely will not be getting android 2.2 froyo. These are exactly the attributes that the Droid X improves upon, basically making it the perfect phone for me on the only network I would ever use.

Droid X is the King

That huge screen, I'm not scared of it. Who needs an AMOLED? I think the X is the best because it's built with Moto quality...not to mention the chipset and other goodies.

I'll also be able to give my wife my Droid to replace her Eris..it's a win/win!
