i really need a new phone i'm still rocking the Motorizr z3. this phone is almost three years old. the center button cover is long gone and it decides when and where to turn on and more annoyingly to turn off. so when thinking of who to pick think of the guy that has been supporting moto for some time now and doesn't want to quit.
This phone is going to be awesome. The memory, screen, processor, and (almost) Froyo make it all so much better than anything else out there!
The motorola droid x is by far one of the best phones released to date. It has the large screen, awesome HD goodness, and the android platform. This is by far going to be the iPhone killer we have all be waiting for. I can not wait to get one for myself. Please hook me up. I will be more than happy to write a review afterward.
The Droid X is the hottest phone of the year because of the massive 4.3 inch high resolution display that will beautifully run Android.
What more do you need to say than the description
massive 4.3" touchscreen, 1GHz processor, 8MP camera, 720p HD video, DLNA support, and customizable Moto widget.
Well that and being left handed I can actually use it without fear.

The Droid X is the best phone of the year, due to the fact that it has a huge screen, and the specs to support it. All high end, lots of space for apps, great processing power. The fact that the android OS is always being updated, and seems to get updates very timely is awesome as well. And compared to this, my blackberry sucks. I am still waiting for the next update, which probably wont come for another 6 months, which will still leave me with another 3 months after that before I can upgrade to an android phone. Can't wait for that, I am done with Blackberry!

Why is the Motorola Droid X the hottest phone of the year. KISS. The name combines the power and influence from all the great super powers.
1. Motorola: Radio and cell phone manufacturer with a long history of killer phones, rugged radios, and reliability.
2. Droid: This word is a dynamo. They pay homage (and some money)to Lucas to get all the old school geeks. Google just loves the shortening of Android to Droid. (more bag for less characters). The original Moto Droid was the best selling Android phone. So why not use it again.
3. X: X has come to symbolize extreme and powerful. X-Games, X-Men, X-Wing, X-Ray. XL XXL. XXX (won't touch on this one)
So combining all of them together just makes every soul yearn to have one. A Moto Droid X.

I am an Sprint subscriber...not by choice, but by work...and I have the EVO 4G. I think the Droid X is a look into where Verizon is going....keeping up with the trends, and the competition. I think it would be great to have this phone for my wife, so we can battle it out EVO vs. X....so I think you should pick me....she wants a Droid....Boring...She needs to step up and take on a big dog
I have been waiting for another Motorola phone that excites me for years! This one has had me scouring every website i can find with 2 words written about it.
Finally, the real hand-held computer has arrived. It's hard not to be excited!
I never expected to see it so soon. This new level of power, memory, screen size, and overall functionality/ease of use is what we all crave. 8)

Never had an android phone before. This phone sounds awesome. Definitely on my radar for replacing my Voyager.
Truthfully, I need this phone because my Blackberry Tour has become one of the worst phones I have ever owned and I still have a year before I can upgrade. I will never go to the darkside (AT&T) for an Iphone because Android is clearly the winner. I want to be one of those with the coolest and greatest new phones in the world. WOOHOOO! I will own you one day.

Android with a 4.3 inch screen, 1 ghz processor, HD Video, and all on Verizon. What doesn't make this the hottest phone of the year?!?
The Droid X already has a lot of features that are similiar to other phones (8MP camera, 1Ghz processor, etc), but what really makes this phone hot is it's HDMI output and 4.3" screen. Those two things really separate this phone from the competition.
