Android custom upgrade to LineageOS taking ages.

[Android Central Question]

I simply wanted to upgrade my KitKat to Marshmallow I wanted to do it on a Tab 10.1 GTN8000. so I got a custom 24BIT .zip download file. I'm using Android Recovery mode thingy to install the ZIP file download. I replaced the battery got a core for the same socket as the tab 10.1 has then I upgraded it. And it's only a 1GB file and its been a solid 5 hours. I am confused

XDA be your best bet for help on custom Rom, but don't be surprised if not much info out there on a old Android version like that

The GT-N8000 is the Note 10.1, not the Tab 10.1 -- I moved this to the Note 10.1 forum for more specific traffic.
