[Android Central Question]

Hi. Couple of questions re Android Enterprise;

1. Re the afw# identifier enrolment method. Our emm documentation mentions that the account to install the emm agent is temporary and gets removed. Why is this as we can’t then install apps unless we add a google account which defeats the object.

2. If we use nfc bump can the donor device be any or must it be the same model , type, version etc as the ‘child’ device?

Have you read the entire site? Or are you trying to jump-start without spending time you don't happen to think you need to spend? If you read the entire site (plus, maybe https://bayton.org/docs/enterprise-mobility/android/what-is-android-enterprise-and-why-is-it-used/), it's all explained. The words "a free single-user account used for little more than initial setup and, optionally, managed app approval" are in that second site. That's one of the two options, not the only way.

Many thanks for the reply. Quite new to Android forums and if I’m honest I’d rather avoid reading pages and pages of info / what may not be 100% the question in matter. Many thanks and I’ll read the Bayton guide. Also If you think the post is suited to another forum etc I’m open to all suggestions.

If you're setting this up for a corporation or business, I'm not sure they'd take kindly to someone just jumping in blindly where company security is on the line. It would be in your interest to research what you're implementing thoroughly before jumping into it, especially when also trying to support that service for end users.
