Wow really? I found the last several models of the Samsung series to have poor radios in them. I've had every model released in the last few years and they are pretty brutal for signal. Way better on the Note 5 and S6 though.

Yeah I personally have found my Z3 and V10 to be very reliable. 2-3 more dropped calls than the iPhone is no where near enough data points to draw any kind of conclusion... and it could very well just be a glitch in my carrier coverage. What little (if any) problems I have had is no where near enough to outweigh all the restrictions imposed by apple.

Believe it or not I even went to Apple for a little while then the "Plus" phones first came out. I was very curious to try an iPhone that wasn't so small anymore so I figured .. why not? I used the iPhone 6 Plus (64 GB) for about 4-5 months (somewhere around there) and it wasn't bad as you said .. it worked well and ran smooth, however, I began to get bored with the OS and didn't like how simple tasks (like downloading a file) wasn't allowed. I also didn't like how Apple restricted OTA updates and Apps larger than 100 MB to "WiFi Only". Why should they police my data plan? I have unlimited but even if I didn't .. if I want to download a 1 GB+ game off the app store over my data plan that shouldn't concern Apple.
I did enjoy some things though. iMessage is wonderful when sending videos to friends who also have iPhones. It is nice to text a HQ video. I can do the YouTube thing (usually do now on Android to avoid quality getting hurt via MMS) but I will say the pure convenience of just sending the video via text was nice. I also like the location pinging as well via iMessage.
That being said .. I am back on Android and really.. really .. realllly enjoying my Nexus 6P. It is a pretty beast phone

Hey thanks! It's great to have amazing conversation with people as geeky as I am about phones, or should I say care enough to come onto forums and talk about it.
I realized what iOS was versus Android, and please everyone understand this is my opinion and do not mean to offend anyone. I find that iOS is almost immature, like I feel immature when using it. When I come back to Android especially on the BB Priv, I feel mature again lol. I know it's silly but when I thought of this it dawned on me and make complete sense.
Again, time to time I find that I am attracted to iOS and almost try to find a reason to jump to the iPhone. However, when I get on the OS it just craps and I can't handle it haha.
Android is absolutely seamless, yes, it has its bugs and frustrations sometimes, but if there is one thing I have learnt through my voyage of many many phones is "the perfect phone does not exist", the Nexus 6P is just very close to it
hahaFor people facing issues with the LTE on the 6p, try downgrading it back to 6.0. 6.01 introduced some weird bugs, where if it loses LTE, it takes ages to lock back. Plus standby time which is stellar on 6.0, went down dramatically on 6.01 (paper napkin guess by 20-30 percent?)
All of the issues i faced were resolved, with 6.0.

I was originally an iPhone guy. Bought the first one in 2007 and continued through all upgrades until the 4S then changed to Android. My last phones were the Note 3, and 4. This last year I was going to upgrade and bought the iPhone 6S. Had it for a week. Don't get me wrong it was a great phone. Can't beat iMessage etc. But it I just couldn't customize it enough. I had it a week and returned it. I'm not bashing Apple. I am writing this on my macbook air which I love, and I have two iPad airs. But for a phone I just wasn't happy. I went with the Nexus 6P and love it. I've not had a lot of problems with calls, but I don't make or receive a lot of calls. Messaging seems to be spot-on so far. At this point I like the 6P better than any phone I've used.
I actually just went into the phone and dialed *#*#4636#*#* and scrolled down to the SMSC section and hit update, it failed, then I hit refresh and it locked on to some numbers. Every since then, my reception has been fine. I actually spent 4 hours on the phone yesterday, while driving, and not a single dropped call.
Also, I was wondering how much of a battery drain have you experienced? Have you factory reset the phone after the update? I found that I needed to do this a number of times in order to have the device work normally from those updates.Come to think of it, you're right, the 6.0 version was amazing, I feel like the stability was far better then 6.0.1. Here's hoping for 6.1 soon!
I have the s6 since release on sprint s5 before that. I never get any dropped calls. Nvr lose signal. Get good enough download speed.

That's great to hear! I'm sure it has something to do with the flashed firmware or the networks those phones are running on. Us up in Canada may just have a unstable cellular network. I do know they are constantly upgrading the networks here.
What do you mean? SMS default sending number? After dialing this number the phone gave me a couple of different options. I chose the phone option. This then gave me a whole list if information where I chose to update the info, it then proceeded to update. It failed and then gave me the option to refresh, which I did and then it worked perfectly fine.
Are you trying to say that the option I chose just had something to do with SMS and not phone coverage? Cause it looked to me that this was to do with reception. Not 100% sure though. Just read some info on the net before doing this and some people said it worked for them.

Wow, you and I are in the same boat. How do you use your Nexus 6P then you're iPhone? Different times during the week? Why do you switch to your iPhone? I'm very interested in reading your response.

2 SIM cards, 2 phone lines.
I USED to have 2 different carriers, but now both are on T-Mobile. I just like being hyper connected and just switching it up at will. I actively carry both phones and monitor the accounts and use the one that has more data, etc.2 SIM cards, 2 phone lines.
So why the Nexus and why the iPhone?

iphone so I can use the Apple Watch (I got a deal 200 off), and the Nexus, because I found I was NOT using the Priv pkb. I can still use the BlackBerry apps on the Nexus which I do via a hack by CB member Cobalt.
