Android KitKat 4.4 for Virgin Mobile?

Anyone there use Virgin Mobile that thinks 4.4 will be updated to us? I've got the optimus F3 and it's plenty powerful for KitKat and I'm hoping we'll get that update. Has Virgin Mobile ever done over the air updates?

Contacted Virgin via Twitter, G+, and FB... no reply. My only understanding is it's up the phone manufacturers (Samsung, LG, HTC, etc.) If they choose to... then Virgin decides after that.

Cool! I can handle that. I just hope there's no issue with me rooting my F3. If so I guess I can unroot it. But I probably won't have to worry.

The only problem I've had is unrelated really. I lost the calculator app and stock browser (not Chrome). I'll live.

I never use browser much, just chrome and I used Firefox a bit. There's nice calculator apps for free, including scientific ones and graphing even. I've deleted stuff on my old phone with titanium backup before. I know the feeling. I've deleted Google books on my F3 since I use kindle and nook.

i got a hold of Samsung today via twitter and they said that it is up to the phone carrier of when they are going to roll out 4.4 for the GS3, and so on for other phones that vigin is carrying upon them. So lets hope that virgin rolls it out really soon im ready for it

Virgin Mobile will be receiving Kitkat. It's undetermined how long it will be here, but it's coming!

Sprint users received the Kit Kat updatewithin the last few days.(at least for the Galaxy S3) which I have with Virgin. I wrote to Virgin and received a response that pretty much said "when we hear something we will let you know via email"
