android market got uninstalled HELP!!!!!!

i did the root and voodoo. i disabled voodoo and flashed a stock kernal. now i am missing the android market app, rom manager and root explorer are both gone as well. it is no where to be found. what the heck. what do i do. i looked on my sd card under backup and THERE ARE NO FILES BACKED UP!!! i did the back up. i am obviously a newb. what do i do? please help.

Nandroid back up, always step one.

There are plenty of nandroid backups on many forums, just find one for your phone/recovery and update. I would find one, but it really is easy to search and find one yourself. That way I remain uninvolved. Good luck.

Go find a zip rom from XDA. Unzip the rom and look for the vending.apk file in that zip. Place that file in your /sysyem/app/ folder on your phone. That should work.

Your not dumb, just probably got dumb instructions to root. quality rooting guides say nandroid is the first step.

i certianly feel dumb!! i cant find a freakin ROM!! maybe i just dont know where to look. but i have been looking for over an hour. thanks for the encouragement though.
