Android Marketplace AT&T Question

Hey guys I am new to Android and my Inspire is not coming until tomorrow. I just had a quick question about the Marketplace.

Because this is an AT&T phone will I be able to use Google Checkout to buy apps or will I have to charge them to my AT&T bill? I am assuming and hoping that I can use Google checkout and not have to add it to my bill.
