I've noticed that Android OS is pretty consistently taking up 28-35% of my battery usage, and has gone as high as 62%. Can't figure out why. With my Nexus S it was far lower--single digits I think. When it went up to 62% the phone got really hot, and I'm sure it's killing my battery life. Is my phone defective?
