Android Pay won't work on stock s6?

So i just got the upgrade of wallet to android pay on my VZW s6.

I followed all the steps ( NFC on, Android Device Manager on and fingerprint security) but i am still getting the message "Android Pay Cannot be Used"
Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is Android Compatible.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Mine works on AT&T.

Works fine with T-Mobile. I believe it won't work with Verizon.

Edit: Ignore the Verizon comment, not sure where I thought I heard that.

You have to upgrade to the latest Google play services. Goto apk mirror website and grab the play services 8.1 ending in 240.

You were probably thinking of Samsung Pay.

Just Checked and thats the version I have installed.
