Android Pay work on Cricket Wireless?

Does anyone know if Android Pay will work on Cricket Wireless?

I just bought a Moto X Pure Edition and I don't have much experience with Mobile payments. The last I heard a special SIM card is required. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No special SIM card. The SIM card reference is for older Samsung Note models that didn't have HCE on the built-in NFC chip, a replacement SIM for those has an NFC chip with HCE to allow mobile payment to work.

Android Pay is carrier-independent so it should work for you.

This is awesome! Thanks for confirming. My Moto X just came in a few hours ago and I'm in the process of setting it up. I'm looking forward to trying out Android Pay.
