Funny that the usaa card want taken. The articles I've read specifically stated that they were ready. Maybe only the credit card is ready, not the debit. Have to wait and see when my wallet gets upgraded

It's only the debit cards that aren't supported. My credit card worked like a champ

Unless chase agreed to only support another "pay" platform only for a specific time frame which honestly isn't very smart given customers want the ability to make life easier. Chase is huge and sometimes big banks just don't care.

I've been reading that this forces you to use a PIN/Pattern on your whole device or it removes your card information. Also saw it doesn't recognize fingerprint scanner as locked and does not recognize the smart lock features like having your phone stay unlocked when you are home...

Then all of the posts from rooted/unlocked devices saying they aren't supported.

I don't plan to upgrade the old app when the update appears. I use Wallet daily and it sounds like I'll never be able to use it if I move to Android Pay right now.

Hopefully these issues get fixed.

There are two Wallet apps now. The 'New' Wallet and the old one that actually gets updated to Android Pay.

Google just launched Android Pay, so why do I have two Wallet apps?

I called my local Chase branch. They said they had never heard of Android pay and had no clue if it was going to be supported in the future.

And they wouldn't because it's a corporate issue that has nothing to do with local branches. Guarantee most people in that office don't even know about Apple pay either.

So I just got android pay. USAA credit card is accepted but not debit card. Now I find that you have to lock your phone to use it. I understand why but it is a huge pain. Why not lock the app? I don't use my credit card much but the debit card I use all the time. It's not supported at this time. So I uninstalled the app. Maybe I'll try again if /when they sport the debit card.
