Just got the OTA notification. I was not on the beta program so mine is 1337MB (leet lol)

Same for me. Update downloading... 1.3 GB... I was not on beta.

Looking forward to system wide Dark Mode.

Is it necessary to do a system reboot and clear the cache after install? My previous phones were Motorola Plays and that was the standard procedure after a major systems update.

It's not a terrible idea, but somebody might say why you shouldn't bother. I generally do a factory reset. Pixels are so easy to setup now with the backup/restore feature.

Got it, but update from Beta 6 only 6.2mb? I guess all they had to do in the final release was change the name of the software build, lol.

Just updated to Android 10. I never installed Q. The update took about 25 minutes. Be prepared to deal with long delays during installation while the screen appears to stall for about a minute or so. Haven't been able to give the system a real test yet. Stay tuned.

I always do on OS changes. But that's a personal preference.

I wonder if i should reset my phone, considering that i came from beta 6 and my update was only 5.5 mb

You can't clear cache on Pixel devices anymore.

Yep, this happened to me too. Made me a bit nervous at first but eventually it chewed through the process.

So far I'm liking the update. The system wide dark mode is awesome.
I gave the full gesture control option a try thinking I would hate it but I actually like it! It's waaaaaay smoother and more refined than the half-assed gesture controls in Android 9. I'll probably stick with it.

Lots of little things to like too, like an adjustable progress bar with music playback on the lockscreen or in the notification shade. More in depth notification information and controls in the notification panel etc.

Still playing around so I'm sure I'll find more stuff.

I never go on Beta programs because I like for new releases to be kind of a surprise, and it makes the phone feel fresh to me if that makes sense.
