Does anyone have a 30 second delay or so when trying to call someone? I will touch the contact I wish to call and it will just say "calling" and then 30 seconds go by before the call actually connects and starts ringing.

I began downloading and paused. Reading all sorts of problems with it and got scared. (Stuck on boot page, etc.)Can anyone comment? Is it safe to download now? TIA!

I've had no issues so far. Battery seems fine, no reception problems, download speeds over mobile data are unchanged. After it rebooted, it showed the Google logo for about a minute, but then proceeded to the G with the progress bar, so no prolonged hangup during the process.

For users who are experiencing problems, it'd be interesting to see if they persist in Safe Mode, since beta testing can never account for every single app that might cause instability (especially if the app hasn't been updated for 10).

Got mine, loving the swiping, just like my old BlackBerry 10. (Ironic isn't it??!!)

I thought that too! Also going back to the home screen with gestures reminds me of the floating words on the Blackberry keyboard.

I like the real estate gained by the full gestures but I'm finding it still needs improvement. The swipe and hold to view recent apps is not as smooth as compared to the gesture found on the iPhone. I find myself often swiping only to go back home.
Additionally when using chrome it is a bit tricky to get the BACK gesture to work and when using Whatsapp it's pretty much not usable for me and end up using the back button on the actual app instead. It's like I have to find the specific spot for it to recognize the back motion with the swipe.

Aside from the gesture issues I love every other feature, my favorite being DARK mode. Waited so long for this...

I like dark mode also, but something bugs me about it. If you're going to have the feature on an OS you've designed, all of your apps should support it on day one! Gmail and the Play Store don't yet support it.

Agreed. And while we're on the subject of dark mode, what bugs me the most is the inconsistency. I'm happy to have it, but the apps are dark gray and the settings, notifications, etc are black. It just looks unfinished. My preference is dark gray because it looks nicer in my opinion, but if they want to go with black, fine, make everything else black, too. Same if they choose dark gray. It just looks tacky as it is now, like it was just hastily thrown together. Oh, and not allowing dark mode to turn on and off on a schedule is a massive oversight.

Really? Strange. May calendar is dark gray. Phone app is dark gray. Same for Contacts, News, Drive, Keep. All my Google apps are gray.

Seems to be related to Verizon. I have the problem. Many have been helped by the inescapably bizarre fix of deleting the My Verizon App. I did it.

This should show the difference on mine. One is obviously the phone settings and one is a random page from Drive showing the color of my Google apps. Very weird yours are black. I'd be fine with it if all my apps were black, too, but as it stands now they're a different color than Settings.
