Have you tried enrolling in the Beta? https://www.google.com/android/beta

I wasn't getting it just from the update button, enrolled in the beta and got it immediately. As long as you enroll once the stable release comes out, that's the version you get, and can unenroll without it reverting back to an older build. And you'll want to unenroll in order to get your regular security updates.

Also, I've missed the 3 navigation buttons.

Hopefully the notifications aren't delayed anymore. My notifications were so badly delayed on Pie.

When I load Nova, Android 10 says I cannot use gestures because Nova is incompatible.

Yep it is not. If you want to use any non pixel launchers, gestures will be disabled. Good luck for pixel luncher haters our there lol

I use gestures with Nova and haven't had any issues. Nova has gestures also if desired

You do not have to go back to those ugly things. Two button gesture works perfectly on Nova. See my Nova homescreen.

That's before Android 10 by the looks of the date, but it looks and works exactly the same today after the update.

This is true... Kinda. But the two button gestures do work. No one needs to ever use the circus shapes again.

My apologies for insulting the buttons. I'm glad you are still able to use buttons. Choice is good. This is why we use Android; bc it recognizes that ppl are different.

I ended up not having any patience and opted to enroll in the beta to get the update. Installing now and then opting out of beta.

I don't really see much of a difference before or after going from beta to full release fwiw.

Depends what you're using them for and how much you dislike the build number being shown. I changed my icon shapes and theme colors and then turned dev options back off...it doesn't take away those changes.

Got mine, loving the swiping, just like my old BlackBerry 10. (Ironic isn't it??!!)

After playing around with the latest update it seems there is no way to remove the frequent apps from the top of the app drawer or when you do the long swipe up. Can someone confirm this?

I wouldn't recommend updating to android 10. I've got extremely high battery drain. Sound issues when answering a call and i can't update anything in google store.

Time for a factory reset. That will most likely fix you up ;-) I fully expected to have to do an FDR myself, but I was VERY surprised that I didn't have to. 10 is working just as good as 9, even though its a brand new release =-O :-D When folks were saying the pixels upgrade very well because of their dual partition seamless update system they weren't kidding.

One more reason I'll be continuing to buy pixels.... and I'm sorry I doubted everyone :-(

agree - I enjoy the updates every month for both safety and features.
