Android Rookie

I fell into the Android world almost by accident. I've been a Tracfone user for years, and I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Centura in January. From comments I've seen, I'm guessing that these a pretty much bottom-of-the-line Android phones, but then, I'm a beginner too.

Would like to eventually learn something about Android programming. (My programming knowledge goes back to the days of FORTRAN and COBOL.)
