Android System battery drain

I have a Samsung S7 on v6.0.1 (Marshmallow). It's driving me nuts. I get less than a day of battery life. When looking at my battery details, "Android System" uses more than 40% with Screen far behind it (see attachments).

I have no idea how to determine what's really eating up my battery in the background.
This morning, I charged it to 100% and without any use, 20 min later, it was down to 96%. Already, typing this thread, it has dropped 3%.

I attached details when I click on Android System process in GSAM.

How can I determine what process is using what? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I attached the images to this thread but if they don't work, you can check them out at https://1drv.ms/f/s!Asjb9_Aw9XW1m8QLI7Ep8TrvBMPF8A

What rom did you install? I recently rooted my device which also meant a factory reset. I now get at least another hour out of my battery but it's still not what I would expect. I installed GSAM but I am having a hard time figuring out how to use that data to determine what is sucking my battery dry. I am especially annoyed with how much it drops when the screen is off.

I would love the help of others who are more experienced to help me understand the data. I now have a rooted device so it should be easy enough to get data.
