Hi there,
just bought the Alcatel M-Pop dual-sim phone (Android 4.1), put in the 2 sims and thought that be it.
But Android keeps turning one of the simcards (the T-Mobile one) off. Switching sim-slots did not solve the problem.
I need to restart the phone to turn the simcard back on. You can see how annoying this gets during the day.
First I thought it was the phone itself, but the other simcard works like a charm. Then I thought
the T-Mobile simcard to be faulty, but it only happens when there seems to be no signal.
According to T-Mobile there is no know issue with Android phones.
I thought about replacing my simcard, but:
1) they charge me for a new simcard
2) as soon as you request a new card, they disable the old one. So no service, while you wait for you new card to arrive.
Anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions welcome!
