Android TV Box - USB Camera and microphone

I have an LG AN-VC550 USB cam and mic that I'd like to use with my Android TVbox (H96). It seems to recognise the camera but not the microphone. Its running Android 7.1.2 on a Rockchip3399 chipset.

Somebody point me to a resource that will give me a clue how to make it work? I have a Logitech cam/mic combination that works but the AN-VC550 has way better video and microphone capability so I'd really love to get it working. Something to do with Android drivers?

It is only designed to work with a few LG TVs and as your Logitech works it would seem the LG cam is not compatible. You could ask LG for support

Thanks. The cam works fine on a different Android TV box running running Android 4.3 on an S802 chip. Could it be that the later versions of Android don't have the same drivers? Could it be that the Rockchip CPU doesn't support it? I'm looking for a clue.
