For Huawei watch: Here is a link to an article that quotes the same twitter post I mentioned above. https://www.reddit.com/r/hwatch/ end of March is what it looks like. I think based on the wording it could push to early April before it is fully pushed out. The Android based manufactures in general really do a poor job of setting expectations. I would say Motorola is one of the better phone manufactures at setting expectations. It looks like they are even hedging on this one.

Will someone please tell me what exciting new features are included in this update?

Stand alone apps on watch. Apps can install via the play store on the watch without having to work through a phone(also via a browser the watch shows up as phones and tablet do, to remotely install (if they're compatible)).
Complications work much better and can be linked to certain apps(weather, fitness, calendar, etc.).
Android Pay support on watches with NFC.
Google Assistant replaces Google Now.
Much, much better UI.

Great news for Fossil owners. I just checked and, as suspected, no update on my H Watch. My Pixel was scheduled to ship on the 21st to 23rd. I just got a notice that it is arriving tomorrow. That should keep me busy till my wear update hits :)

Ahhhhh!!! I just realised that the update is not coming to original Fossil Founder!!! Feel like throwing it out of the window or breaking it to pieces!!! Why these idiots from different Android websites keep talking about 'Fossil Q Founder' when they mean 2nd Gen Fossil Founder???

Most websites says: their 3 watches: founder 2Gen, marshal and wander. Someone else in other forum said he never read anywhere that Fossil Founder 1 was being updated. Yet, in a twitter Fossil was saying they were updating their 1st generation watches first... very confusing... I really hope that I am wrong.

I am not really looking forward to this update to be honest with you. My moto 360 gen2 runs GREAT (understatement) as it is on 1.0. It just doesn't seem like the 2.0 roll out is very well planned at all. I question just how thoroughly it has been evaluated and tested. Especially since the developer preview has only been available for two specific devices.

I have no need to install apps directly to my watch from my watch.
I have no need for NFC or any form of $ transaction via my watch.
I don't use google assistant or now.
The 1.0 UI is smooth as silk for me.
I get EXCELLENT battery life on 1.0... ~70% after a typical day (6AM-11PM). ~60% after a heavier-use day with more bright SOT. There have been days I forget to re-charge at night, and at the end of day-2 I still have ~25-30% remaining.
Voice recognized text-ing has been GREAT using Android Messages.

I'm not upgrading just yet... if moto gives me the option.

I would agree with you if I was using it with an Android. But I wear mine with an iPhone. I think I like the idea of my watch being more independent from the iOS which limits so much of its usefulness.

You bring up another really good point... Just how thoroughly has 2.0 been tested with iOS?... and with what wearable devices has it been thoroughly tested? I would imagine "very little, and very few". Unless someone on the development side can clarify.
