Android Wear Update!

Today I received another Android wear app update, after the last one being only a few days ago. Anyone noticed that?

I just updated the wear app. I now have a problem setting a timer. For example if I say 'ok Google' ... 'set timer for 4 minutes' it will take me to the timer, but I have to scroll to select the length. This completely makes the timer feature useless for situations where I can't use my hands.

Mine does the exact same thing, I was wondering if it was just me. Hopefully someone will have a fix for this or the update to the watch fixes it when that comes out

Shoot! I just started a new topic about this exact issue. I hate it now!

I got the Wear update on my phone last night. Sure enough, when I connected to the watch this morning, I got the "Android Wear has stopped" message on my 360, and couldn't get it to reconnect to my phone.

I turned off Bluetooth, went to work, and forgot about it until lunchtime. I turned Bluetooth back on and the 360 connected like normal.

Hopefully that's the end of that. I'm really tired of un/reinstalling stuff and factory resetting my 360.

Mine did the same thing for the first few times but now it is working correctly again.

I just got an update on Wear on the phone and for the first time ever I am experiencing what others were reporting about the "Unfortunately the process com.google.process,gapps stopped and several others popping up constantly, including "Google Play services stopped". A reboot did NOT fix it. Rebooting the phone also did not fix it. Then the watch will not connect. Then it starts ignoring button pressing. Once it rebooted again on its own. Then "Android Wear isn't responding. Do you want to close it?"

It is totally F'ed up now :( I have to go to bed.

I ended up doing a factory reset to the watch, after several long attempts (because it kept pausing, hanging, sometimes rebooting, etc). After that and two more reboots, it seems like it is back to normal again. Whew...

Same here. But after resetting seemed to fix everything, when I ask OK Google anything (or tap for the "Speak now"), the screen only shows the working circle and then disconnects from the phone. I hope a fix is on the way.

Edit:
Fixed with the next day's update . Thanks Google.

some observations after android wear update (ver. 1.1.11876095):

google fit and motorola heart app will occassionally pop up on the watch battery screen with 1% usage each. this despite all fit and all motorola apps turned OFF.

mute phone alerts and calls is turn ON but it does not work; alerts show up on both watch and phone.

battery drainage went from a very acceptable 2%/hour rate to about 3.5 - 3.75%/hour. i still end up with ~40%-35% life left when i put it on the charger anywhere from 10pm-1130pm. i was much happier with the 50% left though. this is with tilt, ambient all OFF.

watch and phone still has issues pairing sometimes when taking the watch off the charger. this causes noticeable battery drain on both watch and phone. i have to reboot the phone and watch, and sometimes turn off/on bluetooth on the phone to make it connect properly.

having to manage the watch is a bit of a chore. not enough to make me stop using it just yet but a chore nonetheless. when the watch works, it works great! hopefully the next combination of firmware + wear updates will stabilize both.

Have you guys seen Droid Life video feature tour of the LG Urbane using Android Wear firmware 5.1.1?

I saw quite a few stutters. I think it's more an issue with software than hardware at this point.

I was just noticing today that my 360 was snappier than normal, even if battery life isn't as good lately.

Does anybody else agrees with this statement?

I'm still sitting with A.W. version 1.1.1.1876095.

1.1.1.1889093 is waiting for me. This is the problem one yet correct?

I am still having a lot of mysterious issues, unfortunately. It will be stable for a while, then just stop vibrating for notifications. Or it will slow down to a crawl for some unknown reason. Sometimes rebooting helps, sometimes it doesn't. And this was all after a factory reset.

I am missing the way it was....
