Welcome to the forums, although unfortunately not under better circumstances.

What device do you have? Did you try anything like rooting it or flashing a new ROM?

I have turned it on and off many times. I took out the memory card and checked with my computer. Nothing is stored on it. It seemed to be fine. What is rooting it? I even let the battery run completly down and pluged in to power, wait a few minutes and at low battery tried to start. Still the same thing! I am fairly sure that it is a Android 4.1. it is not the small one but I don't think it is th 4.0 either. It is a little smaller than an 8.5 ipad!

Ok...Turn it off.

I am going to try to help you reboot into recovery. Press volume Up and Power at the same time, hold until you see the logo then release.

This should bring up a menu with a highlighted bar. Use the volume up and down buttons to move the highlight. See if there is an option called wipe cache partition. If you have that, scroll down to it and push power.

Should take about 15 to 30 seconds to complete. After that, you should see the menu pop back up already highlighting reboot now. Press power to accept.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I am trying that now, but my android is not charged up. Will have to charge awhile. Sure hope this works. I will let you know!! THANKS

I tried it and a medium size aqndroid on his back with his tummy open and an ! came up. Then it didn't go any further. I am letting it charge somemore and will try again!

Press and hold the volume up- power- and home button- untill
You see the samsung logo then let go of them it should take you
Into recovery mode then use the volume button to go to restore and wipe
And use the power button to start recovery
this should fix your problem :-)
Good luck

Welcome to the forums!

I got one more thing I need to ask I noticed today I been rooting the phone with a cwm n7100 file on my n7105 I've had no problems with it working but I dont like the cwm recovery it installs as I like it to be as close to stock as possible.
I've seen today and downloaded a file called cf-autoroot for my model of phone witch says you keep stock recovery it just gives root access witch is what I wanted
Have you used it and what would your opinion be on me restoring the phone and re doing it with the cf autoroot is it worth the bother or stay as I am .

I have used CWM Recovery and it is ok. I actually like it better than stock. Some ROMs only install through a custom recovery, and there are a few more things you can do on a custom as opposed to stock.
