I have done all the directions as you stated and it appears to have worked(I got into all the hidden menus and it allowed me to adjust them). For example situation/volumekey allows me to hit okay after i change them to 0 and then it backs me out to the situation menu where at the bottom it says save. The save button does not take me anywhere. Then I press home and go to adjust the volume and it still makes a beeping noise. I go back and check the values and they are still at 0. But if I restart my phone the values go back to default. This is true of most of the things I try to adjust. They adjust but then do not stick or make any changes that they are supposed to. Can you help me? -Edtcog

Did you read anything past the first post? I believe I read settings won't save if you are not using the DI01 kernel.

I am rooted with sc2.8. When I hold my power button I get a menu of options silent mode, mobile data, airplane mode, power off, reboot, recovery, and download. If i do the power off code I will lose all these options correct? I would love to get rid of the unlock screen.

From what I read, you will loose those options, but I also read that whatever changes you made will not save unless you are on DI01, which you are not with sc2.8, you are on EB01. So you will revert back to having the unlock screen and the long press power button menu.

Ok, so I checked and you DO need testmode enabled to enter these menus.
I already had test mode enabled which is why I was able to get into them.
To enable test mode, do this:

Go into the Dialer and enter *#83786633 then press the Home key
Go back into the phone dialer and enter *#22745927
Now a box will come up asking for the SPC code. Enter 000000
Press the Hiddenmenu Enable radio button.

Now you can use these codes.

None of these do anything on my Sprint Epic. Anyone have suggestions?

They patched all of this long ago. Look at the origin date of a thread before you dig it up out of the archives LOL. If you want any of this stuff you'll have to flash back to DI01 on a fascinate, enable it and work from there, but you'll have to flash back to DI01 to disable any of it as well.

None of it would work on an epic to the best of my knowledge.

This is great. Hopefully this is the first step towards increasing the maximum speaker volume and turning down side tone.

theres an app called Galaxy Tuner once DL'ed you can adjust several things and its for Galaxy Class phones
i adjusted my volumns and also if you desire ,,you can over clock with it as well..it is loaded with with tunings for the Galaxy S phones ..
its dependable also.. i have it and love it

Will any of these codes enable your DATA/3g connection? or disable it? I was messing around on the TSM Hidden Menu section on the Comm Rom 1.3 and suddenly lost 3g. but i dont know at what point i lost it cause i was going thru every option to see what each does.

If it's not listed in this thread, there is not a code that does that.

Any way to do hidden menus from ED04?

All I got was force close after entering the codes. Then I made the mistake of putting in the "enter testing mode" code string. I can enable hidden menus but can't access any of them.

I'm trying to get my media volume loud enough so that I can hear it. It's practically inaudible on the speaker now even when set it to max 15.

As has been documented in this thread since early February, these codes will only work and changes will only stick on your phone if you are on DI01 which is the very first build and baseband that came on most of our phones.

@ Mods - Please, please, please close this thread as it is severely outdated and the information contained in it is of no use anymore.
