When I try to install Angry Birds Rio on my Mytouch it gives me a message 'Out of space Angry Birds Rio could not be viewed. Free up some space on your phone and try again'

I have 50mb of internal memory free and 2gb free on my mini sd. From my understanding it's only a 12mb file. I've downloaded other apps with no problem, only this app gives me trouble. I have Angry Birds and Seasons installed as well.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I think it does have something to do with the Amazon download. I tried to install the Angry Birds St Patty's Day and it gave me the same message, but when I DL'd it from the Android marketplace I had no problems whatsoever. I wrote Amazon about this too, hopefully I hear something back. If I do I'll post it here.

I had the same issue. Used "AppMonster" to save me other apps to SD card. To do this, open AppMonster, press and hold an app that you want to save, when the next screen comes up, "Save to SD". This does just that, it says the app to your sd card and you can reinstall later. I did this to a couple of the apps and then uninstalled them. The uninstall freed up more room, I was around 75mb with it the game finally took.

Then I went back into AppMonster and clicked on the "menu" button (button with the three lines on it), selected "install" and reinstalled the apps I wanted again. I now have the angry birds rio and seasons both on and working. My memory is back down to 19mb but hey it fixed the problem.

This stinks to have to do but it is good news in that at least I know how to save apps now, rather than losing them forever.

PS I had to back up AB Rio and I did lose all the games I had played, it apparently doesn't save the stats you have racked up. :(

Hope this helps.
