Drew i noticed your rom says dooderbutt and i searched it up and I see it is an ICS rom but i was worndering if it really worked on our Optimus S' I am afraid to flash it right now which might result in a brick and if u ported it to our phone could you give me download link?

It's my ROM name label, I can enter into it what I wish. The *real* Dooderbutt ROM is the ICS ROM for the Nexus S, so DO NOT even think about flashing it.

I put Dooderbutt in my ROM name label because I can, not because I am running the Dooderbutt ROM on my Optimus S.

Ok so I've been incognito for a bit and my phone still has ZVD was wondering, cause I'm whor**g the Go lancher and ALL its side pieces, can you make this rom incorp some of the Go apps customization ability. Right now my phone looks like my sketch books have thrown-up all over it.

I have that problem with stock rom!......I have to charge during day and all night.
I recommend this app for ya " Juice Defender - Battery Saver. It works ill tell ya
AND the paid version works better (I got it for free SHHH...)

I still use the Contacts/Dialer app for now and an older version of Go SMS Pro, but the Launcher and the Locker are right out.

Go Launcher is great if you have a device with oodles of internal memory; the Optimus S does not. How many multi-megabyte themes do I have to install just to get it to look decent?

Go Locker is neat, but still fresh, clunky and laggy. Also, it does not play so well with PowerAMP, a must-have app for me.

Go Dialer/Contacts is a definite improvement over the stock, but still laggy. It would take some getting used to for some.

Go SMS Pro has become straight dookie in the last few versions. I am using v3.7.8 and refuse to upgrade for their new "features."

I am not the dev, but I can't see them going that way anytime soon.

We will not be including any GO apps for the above reasons.

Although I'm not a beta tester, I'm sure some on this ROM will be interested in the ability to make the real AP (Hot Spot) function work without the sprint error message. I got it to work with a few simple steps. You can read my post over on YOUR MOM ROM V1.1 #624 under my user name.

the ROM has nothing to do with whether or not the AP mobile hot spot works or not. it is a Kernel modification, and a large one at that. I am sure that Drew is doing his best to get it to work, but from what I hear, it is NOT an easy undertaking.

I'm sorry if you misundertood me. I got it (the HotSpot feature) to work on YOUR MOM ROM with a few simple steps. You can read the steps over on the thread YOUR MOM ROM V1.1 #624.

At the end of the first post is a button that says "donate"

Click on that, and it will allow you to do just that thru paypal. Keep a record of the transaction id number and forward it and the amount donated to a team hydro member. They will in turn (allowing for their personal lives as a time frame) hook you up with a download link!
