Annoying ads, any hope?

Is there any way to get rid of or block these annoying ads, that sometimes cover the whole page, or just come back with every post you navigate to on this forum? Some of them, nearly impossible to find the close button.


They seem to have taken over the internet and make browSing a very tedious effort on so many sites
I've tried ad blockers, but they don't work.

Any ideas?

If you are trying ad-blockers and those don't work then no, there's no way to remove or block those ads. To close that particular ad click on the "x" in the top right corner of that ad.

That is the problem, the overlay ad, sometimes you can't even see the "x" or close button.
