Annoying AirPush spam help

Good day to the almighty sIII users.
I have a problem with one specific airpush notification that pops in my notification bar several times a day. It has an icon of a text message, all written in Chinese language. i've installed several apps including Ad Network Detector, AirPush Detector, Addons Detector and AVG Antivirus trying to fetch the app. non of those programs can trace this annoying app with airpush spam. Although Addons Detector was able to catch Bus Parking 3D which had 2 airpush addons. I've immediately uninstalled it and stopped receiving some notifications, but not this chinese one. i've about 300 apps, so deleting them one by one is not an option. Does anybody have a suggestion how to catch this app, or what it could be in general.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

also, i think we should organize some sort of a petition addressing android developers in google to stop this DIRTY AirPush business that they currently support

It is an ad that pops up in the notification bar like an email. A petition wouldn't help since most legit devs wouldn't do that.

Just download airpush detector, it will tell you which apps are the offending apps and allows you to remove them if you choose to do so.

ad network detector usualy is good at findin the app unfortunately thats the price we pay for free apps.
aparently with Jellybean you can block them though

Uninstall your most recently installed apps, then re-install one by one over time to find the offending app. Since the scanner apps can't find it, that might be your only solution.

I have never run in to a situation where air push dectector didn't find the offending app. I'm kind of at a loss, sorry. Please update us if/when you figure it out.

Thank you very much for replies. i'll try to upload the screenshot of this airpush notification. i've tried airpush detecting apps and actually read about every single app that uses variety of advertisement methods. only one app was with airpush capabilities, but i've uninstalled it right away. what is strange though, yesterday i've received about 3 or 4 of such ads, today none. could it be not the app but some outside of the phone source which somehow knows how to reach my phone?

You can use Airpush Detector to see what apps are causing it and then u can uninstall them...thats what i use

He apparently have used that app and it didn't help him. If Google allows the developers to keep doing this without clear message or opt-out option for ads, this will take some customers away from Android.

Hmmm, well to the OP, he should check his recent downloaded apps from the Google Play store and read the reviews...people will usually complain that its bringing ads on their phone, that would tell him which app is causing it

the trouble with being able to opt out of all ads is that a lot of great payed apps wouldnt exist if they hadnt started by being ad supported.. the devs have to earn something.
the best thing would be for google to make the refund period longer for certain apps, say 7days (obviously not for games or books) so we can really test them for stability, battery use etc

@Op, how did you end up with 300 apps? I'm sure if you start removing apps you've not used since installing, you'll inadvertently remove the offending app

People would abuse that so much and devs wont be getting paid because everyone will keep returning stuff lol

actually the problem is that this spam pops completely on random basis. i've started receiving them after some "quite" period, before or during which i did not install any applications for at least 4 days. i'm thinking its some malware which could not even have own icon in the apps menu. i guess we should all be careful while browsing web.

and seriously as for android developers, i really think they should not have a right to send us airpush outside of the app use. i'm cool with the in-game or in-app ads (so that the app developers would have some money to feed their kids and family ), but outside of that time, this is a legal issue!
